Strength & Conditioning

Our Strength and Conditioning coaches focus on mind, mobility, stability, strength, endurance, power, speed, agility and performance. They practically apply sports science to enhance movement quality to improve performance and helps to support injury rehabilitation.

They support the problem solving of performance questions within the sport through genuine curiosity and a constant drive to support athletes.  This is based on a deep understanding of the sports we work with, their culture and the relationships between all those involved, which means we are able to integrate rapidly, build trust and add value.

Our Strength and Conditioning coaches utilise a performance backwards approach to model performance impacting training prescription based on the holistic needs of the athlete.

  • Plan and programme to maximize adaptation and optimize performance.
  • Coaching to bring to life the programme in an appropriate climate and culture aligned to the sport to maximise adaptations.

Enhancing recovery and working with injuries

Our coaches work closely with our therapists and rehab professionals, trained to spot imbalances and potential injury. Your coach will be in constant communication with our therapists to work on your imbalances and weaknesses caused by injury.

How does PT at Pinnacle work? +

It all starts with a complimentary consultation. This will involve going over your fitness levels, injury history, weaknesses and imbalances. From here, we tailor plans depending on what you need and will be able to discuss your requirements further and also which classes would benefit you.

Who can benefit from a PT? +

Whether you’re someone who is beginning their fitness journey, a seasoned gym goer or a professional athlete with a solid fitness level, having a personal trainer or a coach can help you meet your fitness goals faster, safer and more effectively– or gain better results or simply learn to enjoy exercise more than you ever thought was possible.

Do your PT's work with nutrition? +

Yes! Our trainers and coaches are able to guide your nutrition.

This will be dependent on your goals and lifestyle and will only be able to be determined with an in-depth analysis of you.

What if I have an injury? +

If you have a specific injury or condition, you may wonder how to keep moving if you're in pain or have to work around an injury.

That's where Pinnacle coaches come in. Most of our trainers are also qualified therapists and practitioners and are able to prescribe the right plan and strategy for your training to strengthen your weak and injuries areas without further damage.

How long do I need a Personal Trainer for? +

Every one is different. During your consultation, we will establish your goals and commitments and advise on timings. This will be completely up to you, although we will guide you with what is best. Timings can also be adapted.

What else is included in PT? +

Our plans can be tailored based on your wants and needs.

Depending on the package you go for, Gym and Class Memberships, Sports Massages and The Recovery Lounge may be of access.
